Breakdown Cover

Roadside and Recovery in the event of a breakdown.

If the unfortunate happens and your vehicle breaks down, then this product provides essential cover to get you and your vehicle back on your way. There are three levels of cover as outlined below.

Standard
The policy covers you for roadside assistance and recovery of your vehicle if you breakdown in the UK and more than one mile away from your home address. You are provided with up to one hour of roadside assistance and if the vehicle cannot be repaired there will be recovery of your vehicle and up to 6 passengers to the nearest garage or if repairs are not possible within the same working day then transportation will be to your home or original destination.

Home Assist
This policy provides all the cover under the Standard Cover but also includes breakdowns at or within a one-mile radius of your home address.

European
This policy provides all the cover under Standard and Home Assist but also includes cover in any country that is a member of the European Union and Croatia, Liechtenstein, Norway & Switzerland for a maximum of 90 days per period of insurance.

Benefits

  • Standard and Home Assist levels of cover available for vehicle's up to 15yrs old.
  • European level of cover available for vehicle's up to 10yrs old.
  • You may upgrade to a higher level of cover by paying the difference in cost between levels.

Restrictions

  • Breakdowns are not covered until 24 hours after the policy is Purchased.
  • Non-refundable 14 days after purchase.
  • Cover can be Purchased at any time at the price quoted but will only run until the expiry date of the motor policy to which it is attached.
