If you have an emergency outwith office hours contact the emergency claim number in your policy booklet to receive advice on what to do next. If you cannot find the number you must deal with the situation as best you can in order to minimise damage and safeguard your property.

If the damage is covered by your policy you should be able to recover the cost of emergency repairs carried out, less your excess. Damaged items should be kept so that they are available for inspection if required.
